Far to the west of Ralnoth, well beyond the temperate western forest,
and even further than the tiny quickling village, a wide savannah of
tall dry grass stretches as far as the eyes could see.  A variety of
wildlife wanders and subsists upon the savannah.  Most of the grassland
critters thrive here for there is only a single predator upon the
entire plains:  A massive lion most refer to merely as the Nemean Lion.
Though it has been often sighted to wander the savannah in an almost
lackadaisical manner, those who intrude upon its rest do not live to
tell of the tale.

Beyond the equatorial climate of the Nemean fields, more humid climates 
can be found to its north and south.  However, a harsh people and
deadly beasts have laid claims to these lands which lay at the very
edge of the world.
