The Ayakashi Archipelago is a series of small islands, rocks and reefs off
the eastern coast of Suboria proper, between the Ice Barrier and the
abandoned Misuto-Shima Province. It is notoriously hazardous to navigate by
boat, and few sailors will even make the attempt. Rumors abound of large
numbers of sharks in the chill waters, and of strange foggy spirits seen
haunting ice floes and rocks.
