Subject: New Spell Idea

Format:
cast 'sunlit portal' <room>             cost: 77 mana

   This portal is a mid-high level cleric spell that, upon casting, creates a
portal in the room that you are in that directs the sun's energy directly
through it, concentrating it safely, giving you the sensation that you are
outside on a bright, cloudless day.

   Sunlit portal has a few reasons for existing.  Primarily, its purpose is
to offer clerics in dark areas a helpful tool against the undead, as you will
be able to cast spells such as sunlight and sunstorm. Secondly, you will be
able to combat a room that is magically darkened by casting sunlit portal,
although it will depend on both the levels of the casters who cast the
darkness and sunlit portal spells.

(Further information on this spell: Learnable at level 25 cleric, from the
Shinto Priest near Aomizu. Must know sunlight, but sunlit portal is not
required for learning sunstorm. 22 intelligence and 25 wisdom are its stat
requirements. The spell itself will do no damage to anything in the room.
Some very specified rooms will not allow for this spell at all, such as the
Deep Vampire's room, however, most of ruins would allow for it. Because of
the extreme change this would allow, the spell will only last for three ticks.)

Sent to room(assuming both succession at casting, and the spell being
successfully cast on the room):
The tiniest hole of sunlight appears directly over <caster's name>'s
hands, magically brightening the entire room!

Sent to room(assuming succession at casting, but the spell being
unsuccessfully cast on the room):
As <caster> attempts to create a portal of sunlight, <gender> spell is
overcome by the utter darkness flowing through this area.

This would be the first time I've ever attempted giving a new spell idea, so
if any of you think this is a good idea and also think I am missing
something, please let me know.
