martial arts

first: make it so lunge, leap attack and charge cannot be used unarmed

new skill: improved unarmed combat ) (20+)

Gives players a simple combo -- a successful stomp followed by two
successful jabs knocks down an opponent. The target cannot be too much
larger than the attaker. Does not work on mobs that cannot be tripped.
Also, mobs cannot do this.

In addition, this skill allows warriors that know lunge, charge and/or leap
attack to use those skills unarmed.

new skill: advanced unarmed combat (30+)

Players may use jab without a free hand (unless using a two-handed shield)
by striking with their elbows instead of fists -- this does not use their
glove dtype nor does it activate hands spells. This makes combos involving
jab more practical while wielding weapons, and allows the knockdown attack
of improved unarmed combat to be used while armed.

If the player has a free hand, jab works as normal.

In addition, players with the disarm skill can attempt to disarm if they
have a free hand and are not wielding a weapon. Unlike weapon-based
disarms, if they fail, a skilled opponent may be able to counter attack.
Armed disarms are unchanged.

A successful unarmed disarm allows the player to make a free attack with
the disarmed weapon before it drops to the ground.

Mobs would not have access to either of these abilities (intrisic wielders
don't need it anyway).

new skill: roundhouse kick (35+)

The player delivers a roundhouse kick, striking multiple opponents engaged
in melee combat. Functions like kick in regards to foot gear and damage,
but is, of course, more movement costly.

-----------------------------------

Feint makes little sense in warrior weapon handling -- you don't need to
wield a weapon to use it. With its focus on intelligence, dexterity and
deception, it should be a thief skill anyway, not warrior.

Pick locks and examine locks should be the foundation of the tinkering
tree.

Contortionism and survey should be part of the stealth tree. Stalking makes
you limber.
