Subject: poison skills subset

I had an idea for a branch of the poison tree which would involve some new
thief skills.  The major skill would be the ability to use tranquilizer
poisons that would render an opponent unconscious or slow them down for a
while.  I think it would make sense to use some kind of blow gun and darts
to deliver the poison.   

They way I think it could play out would be something like:

You send a poisoned dart flying into A cityguards neck! A cityguard grasps
at the dart, but the tranquilizer is already in it’s veins. A cityguard
sits down and begins resting.

1 Tick later: A cityguard begins to look very sleepy.

2 Ticks later: A city guard succumbs to the poisons flowing through their
veins and falls asleep.

4 Ticks later: A city guard wakes up and begins resting, they look lost and
confused.

8 Ticks later: A city guard stands up, finally overcoming the tranquilizing
poisons.

The tranquilizer would basically affect them as a lethargy spell would, to
some degree.  It would lower attacks and dex, maybe leaving regen the same.
 This would also give thieves a way to put a mob to sleep before stabbing
it.  It would of course wake up when stabbed, but still be affected with
leth like symptoms.  It could also make aggressive mobs non-aggro for the
duration of the poison effect.

Some possible saving throws could be: Dexterity - Dodging the dart or
pulling it out before the poison could take full effect. AC - The dart
would uselessly bounce of armor. (maybe the dart thrower dex could overcome
this save by being able to hit a chink in their armor) Size/Weight - It
would take twice as many darts to affect a 300 lb mob as a 150 lb mob.
Poison resist - More poison resist could mean shorter effects or more darts
to achieve full effect. Level of mob - There should be some cap on higher
level mobs as this could be too powerful against some mobs.

This would involve a blowgun using skill and some kind of method to
brew/poison the darts, unless someone could thing of a more sensible way to
administer this type of poison.
