If you want to restart your character and try a different combination of
classes, spells, and skills, you can do this from the login screen before
you enter the game.  See 'help restart' for more information.

There is no way to explicitly delete your character or your account.  This
is because many things on the server are linked to your character name,
and it takes time for those things to disappear.  If your character is
deleted and someone else reuses the name, it can cause various problems,
not the least of which is ownership confusion.

Because of this, the only way to delete a character is to stop playing it
until it times out.  When a character times out, all of its data should
be clear, and it will be safe to reuse the name.  The time it takes for a
character to time out is based on the number of levels the character has:

 - 12 months for a level  1, all levels   1 char
 - 19 months for a level 10, all levels  15 char
 - 27 months for a level 15, all levels  30 char
 - 37 months for a level 20, all levels  50 char
 - 49 months for a level 25, all levels  75 char
 - 64 months for a level 30, all levels 104 char

Characters above 104 in all levels are currently never deleted.
Characters which are not in an account delete 6 months faster than this
to help release names created by people just checking out the game.

Don't worry about your characters consuming server space.  The server
can handle tens of thousands of undeleted players without trouble.
