Format:
map           - the default map command
map -roads    - turn off roads and trails on the map
map -help     - a short help page
map clear     - erase your current map completely

The map command shows a crude map of where you have recently been,
with or without roads if you wish.  If you haven't been to a particular
spot, the map command can't show you what is there.  Also, if you stay
away from a spot for too long, your map might forget what was there.

Your map also resets when you log off the game.

If you're looking for area maps that are permanent and save with your
character, a number of them can be found in shops, and many of these
can be accessed via the web pages as well.
