Format:
memorize <item>
memorize <item> <spell name>

If you find a spell book or similar artifact, it can be used to learn a spell
or a part of a spell.  You will attempt to decipher the writings on the item,
and if successful will trade in a practice for some knowledge of the spell.
The item can only be used once, and will disappear when you are done.
