Samon is a player with a long history on the game.  He has been here since
the beginning of Alter Aeon and has made many positive contributions,
though he has also been a point of contention as well.

At one point, the game-calculated asshole factor was measured in units of
Samons.  This was not because he was a huge asshole, but because his
game-calculated asshole factor was always the same low value over many
years.  Eventually the asshole factor code changed and he dropped off the
list completely, but you can still occassionally hear the asshole factor
being referred to in units of Samons.
