There are many varieties of woodland terrain:

light forest - groves, orchards or the edges of forests
thick forest - thickly wooded terrain, little underbrush
dark forest  - thick forests twisted by dangerous magic
taiga        - cold forests, primarily composed of evergreen trees
jungle       - hot, humid woodlands with exotic hardwoods
swamp        - flooded, difficut to navigate woodlands

Woodland terrains have the most wood of all terrains, and are good places to
hunt or forage. As a rule of thumb, the thicker the tree cover, the lower the
amount of forage but the more available wood you'll find.
