The witch class is available during certain Halloween Havocs.  It is
centered around the Gift of Ils and the lore of Takari witches.

It is a bonus class with five levels.  Each level unlocks the following
spells:

Level 1 - 'evil eye' - This curse diminishes the aura of the target,
making them more vulnerable to magic.  The change makes the target feel
uncomfortable, slightly lowering their hitroll and damroll.

Level 2 - 'secure familiar' - A black cat is a witch's familiar.
They are formidable combatants and do not require any control points.  In
addition, a witch familiar grants a luck bonus to all nearby allies. Black
cats are expectionally sneaky and will rarely give away their masters.

Level 3 - 'fascinate' - This spell clouds the mind of a living,
sentient humanoid such as a human, elf, orc or giant. While fascinated,
the target will stop fighting and stare, transfixed by interior visions.
Any attack upon the target will end the spell. A target must be affected
by the evil eye curse before being fascinated.

Level 4 - 'witchlight' - This curse afflicts the mind of a target with
fell energies that make spellcasting painful.  Enemies suffering under a
witchlight curse take damage every time they cast a spell. A target must
be affected by the evil eye curse for witchlight to work.

Level 5 - 'baleful polymorph' - This spell turns any living target
that fails to resist into a toad for a short period of time, reducing their
size, health, physical strength and mental faculties for the duration. A
target must be affected by the evil eye curse to be polymorphed.
