Search results for '2.lock'
Keywords are: 'storage locker increase decrease'
Syntax:
storage increase - increase the maximum capacity of your locker
storage decrease - decrease the maximum capacity of your locker
If you require more than the default 1000 items that lockers can hold,
you can increase the size of the locker using the 'storage increase'
command. There is no charge for size increases or decreases.
Each time you increase the size of the locker, your limit increases
by 1000 items. Each time you decrease the size of your locker,
the limit decreases by 1000 items.
Warning number 1: you cannot decrease your locker so the limit
is lower than the number of things in your locker. If you have a
locker with a limit of 2000 that has 1500 things in it, you can NOT
decrease the size below 2000. If you have a locker with a limit of
2000 and it has 1000 things in it, you CAN decrease the size to 1000.
Warning number 2: increasing your limit can raise the yearly cost
of your locker. The maximum cost is 2000 credits per year for each
1000 items in your limit, but it can be less if your locker doesn't
have very many items in it.
Example 1: If your limit is 1000, 2000 credits will buy you a year,
regardless of how how many items are in your locker.
Example 2: If your limit is 2000 and you have 999 items in it, 2000
credits will buy you a year, because you could decrease your storage
size to 1000 if you wanted to.
Example 3: If your limit is 2000 and you have 1001 items in it, 2000
credits will buy you six months, because you cannot decrease your
storage size without removing items.
In other words, having a high limit doesn't necessarily mean you
will be charged a lot, so long as you keep track of how much is
in your locker.
