NULL is a keyword that you can use to delete or clear descriptions in
most cases.  It can also be used to destroy things like aliases, or
possibly clear other things like rooms or doors.  Note that this is
not implemented for every function or feature.

The usage of NULL comes from C-language use of NULL as an empty or
cleared pointer.
