Usage:
compare <object>
compare <object/wear location> [second object/wear location]

With only one object, the compare command will compare the designated item to
a similar object that you are wearing, if possible.

If two objects are specified, they are compared to each other. The two items
must have the same wear location and be of the same object type to be compared.

You can specify wear locations instead of object names.

Compare will contrast the size, weight, level, flags and effects.

For armor, it will show ac apply of both and the difference between the two.

For weapons, it will compare the damage type, dieroll and speed as well.

For parts of the same kind, it will compare the quality of the items.

You can automatically compare worn equipment with objects you list or
identify by toggling the 'set autocompare' command.
