say <message>          - you say your message to everyone in the room
tell <name> <message>  - tell a player a message
yell <message>         - send your message to everyone within earshot

There are also global channels you can use to talk to everyone on the
game at the same time.  Some of these are:

shout <message>    - usually used for emergencies
newbie <message>   - reserved for newbie helpers and players under level 15
gossip <message>   - general questions and information
auction <message>  - equipment sales

To shut off or turn on a channel, just use the name of the channel
with no message. These channels are open to all for general use.
