The Cartographers' Guild often assigns jobs to its members to
explore wild areas.  When such a job is assigned to you, the
destination will appear as a temporary landmark to help you find
it.  Use the 'survey' command to advance the job, and complete
the job by talking to the guildmaster who assigned you.
