There are many forms of crafting in the world, from the druidic art of
totem carving to the more general skill of leathercrafting to forging metals
to the myriad brewing skills. Crafted weapons and equipment varies in
quality.  Skilled craftsmen can produce equipment that rivals powerful
artifacts. Most crafted equipment can be enhanced, upgraded or enchanted to
further increase its potency.

The craft command is not used to create items, but for restringing and
increasing the quality of crafted gear using profession points. It will
also point you towards the various commands used for crafting.
