A legacy is a type of quest.  They are special quests with limited
availability, such as those earned during game events.

Your completed legacies can be displayed using the 'legacy' command.
You can also see another player's legacies by using 'legacy' and
then the other player's name.  You can also use the 'profile <name>
-legacy' command.
