Syntax:
where
where <name>

Where alone gives a list of players in the area, and what room they are in.
Where followed by a character name shows where that character is in the area.

Note that in some areas, usually populated cities, the where command may
also show you the location of important citizens.  Typically these are
shopkeepers, guildmasters, teachers and trainers, and occasionally even
priests.  The location of these people is also usually considered common
knowledge in most towns.
