Alter Aeon is designed to be playable without triggers, and triggers
are not integrated into the server.  We recommend you use the built in
mud aliases instead of client side aliases and triggers.

If you really must have automatic triggers, you'll have to find and
download a separate mud client that supports them.  The main Alter Aeon
client does not support triggers, but it is theoretically possible to
set them in Mush-Z.

A word of warning - certain uses of these programs can allow other characters
on the mud to 'trigger' your client into doing strange things.  If you never
set any actions/triggers, you have nothing to worry about.  If you do set
actions or triggers, be sure you anchor them properly to prevent bogus misuse.

Client triggering is much more difficult on this mud than on other muds,
because of the way in which semicolons are handled.  However, this does not
mean that triggering is illegal.  If you wish to use a client, you must be
responsible enough to deal with the risk involved.

If you use triggers on your client, you are responsible for anything that
                 other people cause your client to do.

For example, if someone triggers your client to spam a public channel,
you are responsible even though you may have been AFK at the time.  Be
careful when setting triggers.
