Archery contests are special events that are held periodically throughout
the day on Tuesdays. You will see announcements on the event channel when
a contest is about to begin.

To participate in an archery contest, you will need a ranged weapon such
as a sling, blowgun, bow or crossbow. Once the contest is underway, you
can join with the 'event start contest' command. This transports you
to a private range where you will be presented with a series of targets.
Firing at targets will accrue points. Whoever has the most points
at the end of the contest wins.

Winners of archery contests receive gold, experience, the bull's eye boon
and, if it is their first time winning, an achievement. Once you win an
archery contest, you will not be eligible to win another until the bull's
eye boon wears off.

You can see the highest archery score you've achieved using 'show archery'.
