Vom is a mining community in Lesser Wallachia. It sits just west of Mount
Glas. The businesses in Vom are part of a consortium known as Vom
Industries. Lately, miners have been reporting disturbances within the mine
-- mysterious cave-ins, strange creatures and even spells that come out of
nowhere.  Operations have slowed, and guards now patrol the mineshafts. 

No doubt the chief officer of Vom Industries wants the problems to go away,
no questions asked.
