It is common knowledge that prolonged exposure to small doses of certain
poisons will help one build an immunity to that particular kind of poison. 
Rumor has it, though, that certain thieves have developed such an intimate
relationship with poisons that they have the ability to resist any sort of
poison, regardless of its source or kind...even poisons they have never
before encountered.  The techinque is said to have originated from the
Naginag Combine, although rumors cannot agree as to which of the criminal
factions within the confederation teach the secrets of poison resistance.
