This quest is for EVIL aligned players.

The Ent - an ancient and mysterious race of animate trees - are few
and far between in the land of men, their number all but eradicated
by the vicious pogroms of the dark embermages. In the days following
the fall of the fire wizards, the notoriously reclusive and
xenophobic creatures were sought to no avail, and their kind were
reckoned an unfortunate casualty of the pyromantic wars.

However, recent reports of an untamed wild on the edges of elven
civilization, defended against intrusion by the very fauna itself
have spurred the curiosity of many brave adventurers. What few have
been seen again were said to describe a vast and harsh woodland,
arrayed in concentric lines of increasingly hostile defense of
whatever lies in the center.

As to what such sparse and stalwart beings may be protecting in the
heart of their domain, many have speculated, but none have managed to
discover for certain.
