Alter Aeon Rules of Conduct

Rules Section 10 - Pets

Rule 10.1 - Thou shalt respect the pets of other players Pets come in many different flavors, including zombies and golems. Creatures that are simply charmed or possessed using ordinary spells are generally not considered pets, but there can be exceptions to this - please use good judgement when deciding to attack a charmed creature. In general, pets should be left alone and left under the control of the owner whenever possible. Any equipment placed on the pet is not fair game, and if the pet dies the equipment may only be claimed by the owner. If the pet is a direct, immediate threat to you or to other players in the surrounding area, you may destroy, move, or render helpless the pet. If you determine that a pet is a direct threat, please try to capture logfiles and be prepared to explain your actions if the admin is asked to intervene by the pet owner.
Rule 10.2 - Thou shalt clean up after and pay attention to thy pets Just because others are supposed to respect your pets, this doesn't mean that you can safely leave two dozen of them in the Temple of Dentin recall while you log off and go to sleep. Don't leave your pets in public areas for extended periods of time without supervision. Pets that are abandoned in a public area, or abandoned pets that become a public nuisance, may be moved or destroyed by the admin staff. Note that this does not mean nuisance pets may be moved or destroyed by other players. If you as a player have an issue with a nuisance pet, please inform the staff so that they can take care of it. If you take action on your own, you run the risk of running afoul of the other rules regarding pets.
