Item description:

Two cuffs made from scales, with one end narrower than the other.  A flap
extends from the narrow end, made also of tough reptile scales.  They are
meant to be  worn on the hands, with the flap covering the back of your hand.
They feel strangely magical, as if there was still life in them.
