Item description:

This armor is made from multiple overlapping plates of dull gray chitin,
shaped and articulated to resemble a cross between scale and full plate
armor. There are separate plates for the center of the abdomen, with two
flanking it, and the pectorals with two more plates acting  as small
pauldrons. Two additional plates make up the back.
