Item description:

This shield consists of a round silver frame etched with runes of power. A
clear disc of crystal is suspended within the frame. In the center is a
boss of solid silver, dome-shaped on the face of the shield and with a
recessed handled on the inside. The crystal is reinforced with magical
force-field effect not unlike the floating disc spell.
