Item description:

The bands are made out of several multicolored dragonscales linked together
by a strange cord. It is strange in that it has no substance you can feel,
though when you try to sever one of the scales out of the bundle the scale
shivers with intense power and remains still. A sense of age comes from the
armbands, a sense of eras that have passed and will pass again. Magic
courses through evry fibre of every scale. The entire bundle is almost too
hard to look at, for it glows an unearthly green. The cost of such a
powerful item is not lost on you, however. Tendrils of slight pain assault
your body and spirit, as if the magic is trying to break your soul's
barriers to a more raw, primitive conduit.
