Item description:

An oval wooden shield, about two feet across and three long.  The edge is
braced with iron to prevent splitting.  Three small iron spikes are set into
the shield as well--two near the top and the other in the bottom center,
forming a triangle.  The shield face is painted black with a blue dragon
head. The dragon's eyes are X's, symbolizing the famed slaying of Draj by the
Fourth Legion of the Naginag Combine, the Dragon Slayers.
