The Book of the Dead is written with hundreds of hieroglyphics of an ancient
kind, unreadable by modern craft.  Being pictorial in nature, however, you
recognize many Necromantic emblems, though older and simpler forms than those
used today.  It contains power, power to lead one from this life to paradise
in spite of earth and hell, or to bring damnation upon misuse or neglect.
