Item description:

This is a pair of leggings that cover the shin and calf, from the knee to
the ankle.  They are made from corn stalks that have been dried out and
coated with salt backed by thin strips of leather.  The top and bottom of
each legging is bound in hemp rope tied with a taut hitch that can be
tightened or loosened in order to put them on or take them off.  The front
portions of each legging over the shins are decorated with maize corn
kernels.  Each piece has the same pattern: that of a white daisy (with
black where the green parts would be) against a red background.
