Item description:

This is a finely crafted breastplate.  The front piece is sculped to give the
appearance of a well- muscled male and is lined with brass buttons.  The rear
piece is flat and square-shaped.  The two pieces are held together by buckled
black leather shoulder straps.  A cingulum, also made black leather and
decorated with brass buttons, encompasses both pieces at the waist.  The
armor has been dusted to give it the appearance of bronze, but it is
obviously made of iron.  The ornamental buttons each have a tiny serpent
embossed on them, depicted in a circular shape chasing its own tail.
