A leather strip has various pieces of mher'eval carapaces shaped and fitted
onto it, creating a lightweight, flexible, fashionable and very tough girdle.
 Pieces of chitin hang down to provide some protection to the groin and upper
thighs.  The whole belt has a sweet smell to it, like flowers.
