Four rings of brass have been connected together in a row.  You can easily
slip your fingers into them and wield brass knuckles.  When used with a
weapon, the added damage potention is great.  Also, you would imagine that
the knuckles would make it easier to carry more, as they strenghthen your
grip, making less work for the fingers.
