Item description:

This is a heavy sword with a long grip, intended to be wielded with two
hands.  The grip is a made of brass and has a large spherical ball that
serves as its guard at the base the polished bronze blade.  The
aforementioned blade is wide, double-edged and ends at a flat edge rather
than a point, clearly placing this weapon in the realm of slashing weapons
and not stabbing weapons.  There is some gilding near the butt of the grip
featuring intertwined serpents.
