Item description:

It's an enormous plate of jet black metal, banded with gold and inlaid in
the center with a hard, white gemstone not unlike diamond. The crystal
emits a beautiful calm white light, casting it only over the metal and the
banded spikes. Turning the shield at angles does not change the trajectory
of the light, which sometimes would fracture into a thousand beautiful
bits, shifting in all colors of the rainbow.
