about. Individual components of each and every spell flicker and dance in
some unknown pattern.  As you approach the 'flames', they sway in response to
your presence.  With a little effort, they begin to take shape, first a large
circle, then a tighter, shield like pattern.  With enough effort, you believe
that you could manipulate this raw energy into a usable, semi-stable form.
