Item description:

This is a white quilted cotton tunic which has been soaked in salt water
brine and then hung to dry in the shade so that the salt has crystallized
inside of it.  This makes the material of what would otherwise be a simple
piece of fabric especially resistant to slicing and piercing weapons.
