Item description:

This helm consists of a thin shell made of aluminum that covered the entire
head except for the face.  The aluminum is backed by multiple layers of
quilted fabric.  The padding should absorb the shock of any blow to the
head, but wearing it for any length of time will be uncomfortable because
the padding will act as insulation and contain body heat. The aluminum
coating has been painted a bright blue color.
