An oval shaped shield, five feet long and two wide, is made from two
fingers' width of mysterious black metal.  This wondrous device was once
carried into battle by the chief lieutenants of the evil Ones, and is
rumored to make the user nearly invulnerable. Emblazed across the broad
black face of the shield is a glowing red symbol: The Evil Eye.
