Item description:

Armor designed to be worn on the shoulders and made from heavy duty leather
and backed with velvet.  The pads are held in place by straps and buckles.
Protruding from the pads are metal spikes approximately half an inch in
length which taper to sharp points. The pads afford the wearer some
protection a boost to attacking but are rather heavy and cumbersome making
dexterous movement of the arms difficult.
