This odd mushroom has a heavily webbed dark pink stem and a broad reddish
cap that fades to a pale pink around the edges. It has no gills - the
underside of the cap is covered with pores that leak yellowish fluid. When
damaged, its pale yellow flesh bruises a dull blue color.
