Item description:

This bow though large for a human is compact and lightweight for its giant
crafters.  Strips of crimson steel run up and down its length adding
greater penetration to its fired missiles.  Glowing runes are engraved into
the steel one supposes adding even greater potency to the weapon in the
hands of a skilled archer.
