Item description:
-------------------------------------------------
They appear to be standard observation notes. Some of the more legible
entries are:
July 14 - The beast in the corner has been building his hut for quite some
time now. Over the past two days, it has become almost a solid adobe cave.
I am amazed by the apparent intelligence this creature possesses... We shall
have to run that experiment again.
July 21 - On coming in this morning, I noticed a number of black objects stuck
to the ceiling in the habitat. Schmidt went in in full environmental gear to
check out what they were, and it turns out that they are yet another example
of our experiments. They also seem to like people, because a couple of them
dripped onto his suit and damn near ate through it before he got them washed
off in the decontamination chamber. Research is pending on whether or not
they will eat through the concrete walls of the ceiling. It would be a shame
to have to sterilize the entire experiment because some creature decided to
break out.
July 24 - Well, the giant mutant mosquitos seem to have gotten out. At least
into the airlock that is... There is an entire swarm of them in there, and
they are too tough to be killed by the generic decontamination procedures.
At this point in time, we are going to have to think of a way to kill them
in the airlock, because letting them out would likely be very painful.
Nothing else seems to be of any interest, most of it just looks like crap.
