Item description:
-------------------------------------------------
This book contains an abbreviated history of the happenings in and around
Mount Zendular.

Many years ago, the priests of Leah, Goddess of Order, tired of the
fighting between the Morlocks, a roving clan of dwarves driven from Moria,
and the ShadowStrike Clan, an orcish cult of Ornias, even as Tragen, leader
of clan ShadowStrike, was preparing to raid their island temple. They
struck down the clans with flamestrikes from above as they fought before
Castle Umbra.

The dwarves were all but wiped out. The remaining orcs abandoned their
holdings on Mount Zendular, fleeing to the south. There, they sought refuge
with the Rubicons, who were enemies of the elves of Thalenwood, whom with
they shared emnity. They fled with such haste that they left their dead
unspoiled, to rot in the field.

Castle Umbra was left unplundered, for a magical barrier enveloped it and
the key for it was not on any of the bodies. Some suspect it may have been
on the vessel with which they planned to attack the Temple of Leah, which
was never located. The slain orcs and dwarves were interred in a crypt on
the east side of Mount Zendular, where the Morlocks once camped. Soon
after, a young dragon took up residence in the crypts, and few dared to
venture there any longer.
