Item description:

This small book has covers made from slabs of polished bone, probably cut
from the shoulder blades of a large animal. Drawn upon the half-dozen thick
parchment pages are diagrams that describe how remove bones from fresh
corpses. Beneath the diagrams are formulae for minor spells that are used
to flense skin, peel back muscles and even crack large stubborn bones.
Unfortunately, they require close proximity and must be channeled through
tools, making them unsuitable for combat.
