Item description:

This is a round, target-style yellowed steel breastplate attached to a
leather harness.  There is no backplate, just a swath of leather that has
been dyed a similar shade of yellow.  The yellow of the steel isn't paint,
but looking very closely one can see slight variations in the coloring in
the form of speckles and blotches, suggesting that it is the result of the
smelting process that produce this particular steel alloy.
