Item description:

This is no ordinary eye patch, as it is huge, which means it had to be
worn by someone very large indeed. It appears to have some copper and 
wood ribbing for extra strength and stability. it is covered by a thick
black fabric that was soaked inn some liquid and shaped to harden that
way. While it is too big for a normal sized person to use as an eye
patch, it would be easy enough to rig up a handle on the inside so you
could use it as a shield.
