Item description:

It's a heavy shield with full arm straps on the inside.  The handholds
and grips allow for hard twisting motions, which can be used to disarm
opponents and break brittle weapons that get trapped by the shield.  On
the outside, spikes and hooks have been arrayed on the shield to catch
and momentarily trap weapons which hit it.
